HoloLimb-CR is a portable Cross-Reality (CR) system designed to support non-pharmacological management of upper-limb phantom limb pain (PLP). Building upon the earlier HoloLimb-AR prototype, the system expands from a single augmented reality platform to an integrated AR/VR architecture developed for Meta Quest 3. HoloLimb-CR introduces four core advancements: structured therapeutic exercises, enhanced limb customization, anatomically anchored shoulder-based tracking, and seamless transitions between virtual and augmented environments. The virtual limb follows natural movements, strengthening embodiment and sensorimotor integration, while dynamic adjustable opacity enables graded exposure and perceptual recalibration. Therapy sessions are brief and optimized for home use, promoting adherence and autonomy. By combining immersive embodiment with ecological validity and portability, HoloLimbCR advances mixed reality from an experimental visualization tool to a scalable, user-centered rehabilitation platform for independent PLP management.
