My research project for the Phd in Education is trying to find a context where Medicine and Pedagogy can build a collaboration in their work processes. In Italy these two fields currently have difficulty collaborating together. The project intends to compare Medical Science and Pedagogy because they have a common object of interest: man and his “being in the world”: Medicine takes care of physical wellbeing, while Pedagogy focuses on his formative aspect. It is also interesting to compare Pedagogy and Psychiatry, since Psychiatry is responsible for psychic pathologies, but it must find a way to intervene on man’s formative process, by orientating or correcting it. Basing on the multiple case study strategy, I'm trying to mix Narrative Inquiry and Phenomenological Method to explore my research trajectory

Abstract

My research project for the Phd in Education is trying to find a context where Medicine and Pedagogy can build a collaboration in their work processes.
