Abstract
According to the Italian Constitution, it is not possible to speak of a «career» path for judges: in fact, judges are distinguished only by different functions. In other words, the Constitution does not provide for any hierarchy between judges. Nevertheless, it is possible to discover some elements in the judiciary that highlight differences in «prestige». These differences have several implications for the autonomy and independence of the judiciary.File in questo prodotto:
