The research engaged university tutor teachers in focus groups to understand what role they give to the school-museum relationship in initial student-teachers’ traineeship, through reflection on their representations and practices. It follows an initial exploratory phase that investigated, through the administration of questionnaires, the use of digital contents prepared by museums during the pandemic within the traineeships of Primary Education Sciences at the University of Milan Bicocca, which showed a mostly occasional use and little dialogue with the museums’ educational services. From the analysis of the focus groups, carried out according to the constructivist approach of Grounded Theory, firstly came out several ideas of museum and relationships with the school, then the learning outcomes that tutors pursue through the dialogue with the museum in their classes, the strengths and weaknesses of this relationship encountered in their professional experience. Finally, they imagined how to promote a habit of dialoguing with museums in the traineeship paths, and some proposals emerged, especially concerning sharing of experiences.
La ricerca ha coinvolto tutor universitari in focus group per comprendere quale ruolo attribuiscano al rapporto scuola-museo nel percorso di forma-zione iniziale degli insegnanti, a partire da una riflessione sulle loro rappre-sentazioni e le loro pratiche. Fa seguito a una prima fase esplorativa che ha indagato, tramite la somministrazione di questionari, l’uso dei contenuti di-gitali predisposti dai musei durante la pandemia all’interno dei percorsi di tirocinio di Scienze della Formazione Primaria dell’Università di Milano Bi-cocca, restituendone un uso per lo più saltuario e uno scarso dialogo con i servizi educativi dei musei. Dall’analisi dei focus group, condotta con un si-stema di codifica ispirato all’approccio costruttivista della Grounded Theory, sono emerse in primo luogo le idee di museo e di relazione con la scuola, quindi gli obiettivi d’apprendimento che i tutor perseguono attraverso il dia-logo con il museo nelle loro classi, i punti di forza e le criticità di questa re-lazione incontrate nel loro vissuto professionale. Infine, hanno immaginato come promuovere nei percorsi di tirocinio un’abitudine al dialogo con i musei e sono emerse alcune proposte, soprattutto inerenti la condivisione di esperienze.
