Humor is not characterized ontologically by its critical ability; it is essentially a mode in which language fits into reality by transfiguring it. Our investigation calls Grandville, Adorno and Horkheimer, and finally Benjamin, and ask the following questions: what are the elements of modern representation and its utopian horizon that humor and laughter can put critically in play? Are they able to really engage in the weave of these collective dynamics, to overthrow some processes by displaying the interior?

Abstract
Humor is not characterized ontologically by its critical ability; it is essentially a mode in which language fits into reality by transfiguring it. Our investigation calls Grandville, Adorno and Horkheimer, and finally Benjamin, and ask the following questions: what are the elements of modern representation and its utopian horizon that humor and laughter can put critically in play? Are they able to really engage in the weave of these collective dynamics, to overthrow some processes by displaying the interior?File | Dimensione | Formato | |
