Oggetti narranti: cultura familiare tra materialità e pensiero critico

The paper explores the potential of autoethnographic research in narrating and revealing a family's culture, through the presentation and critical analysis of everyday objects, understood as material and performative things, as well as by their evocative and symbolic power. A study on narrating objects, involving students in educational sciences, shows the dominant and disquieting presence of gadgets, objects whose value is not their use and questioning us on the quality of feeling in contemporary culture.

L'articolo esplora la capacità della ricerca auroetnografIca di narrare e svelare la cultura di una famiglia attraverso la presentazione e l'analisi critica di oggetti di uso quotidiano, intesi nella loro materialità e performatività, ma anche nel loro potere evocativo e simbolico. Una ricerca sugli oggetti narranti con studenti di scienze dell'educazione mostra la presenza dominante e inquietante dei gadget, oggetti che non hanno valore d'uso e che ci interrogano sulla qualità del sentire nella cultura contemporanea.
