Network analysis has been recently applied to model several psychological phenomena, including psychopathology and personality psychology, and has offered novel insights in these fields. However, the characteristics of psychological situations have never been systematically included in these networks. This chapter, introduces the most relevant concepts of network analysis and reviews some of its most important applications to personality and psychopathology. It discusses how network analysis can be applied also to the study of situations. The chapter presents an example of application of network analysis for comparing the structural organization of the situational experience across different countries, using state-of-the-art methods
