Il Quasi-Mercato Sanitario Indotto dai DRG alla Luce delle Teorie dei Costi di Transazione

In health matters one of the main objects is certainly the reduction of the expense in order to search at the time itself, not to worsen the efficiency and the quality of the service offered. The reform of the Italian health system has started to change at a regional level introducing a payment system related to the performance (DRG). The resource allocation in the national health system has been one of the determinants of greater importance for the Reform as from the nineties; the heaviest problem corcerns the tendential expansion of the health expense concomitant with a not rapid growth of the country; the reduction of the resources available for the health market and the waste of these last ones. The DRG aims at creating a market inside the health service in order to improve the service efficiency and to reduce the waste of resources paying a greater attention to the costs and profits and trying to answer to the Make or Buy question? A transaction costs theory application to the analysis of the values and faults of the DRG aims at identifying the best choice
