Astrid Lindgren e le eroine al di la' degli stereotipi di genere

This report offers an analysis of the female children’s images in the Astrid Lindgren ‘s novels: the male and female’s representation in the children’s literature, indeed, shapes the process of identity construction of boys and girls. The female children in the Astrid Lindgren’s novels constitute an interesting and meaningful model of reflection on the gender stereotypes. In this report, the female children images are analyzed in relation to some areas and dimensions: the play and the objects, the space, the bodies, the relationship with the adult women. It is evident that Swedish author exceed the traditional pattern of female children in the children’s literature, shy, polite and virtuous, but does not propose simply a reversal of this model: the her female children are complex and articulated figures, with their specificity

Il contributo propone un’analisi delle figure di bambine presenti nelle opere di Astrid Lindgren ricordando come la rappresentazione del maschile e del femminile presente nella letteratura per bambini/e e ragazzi/e influisce notevolmente sul processo di costruzione dell’identità. Le bambine di Astrid Lindgren a questo proposito rappresentano un interessante e significativo modello di riflessione sugli stereotipi di genere. Tali figure vengono analizzate, all’interno del presente contributo, a partire da alcuni ambiti e dimensioni: il gioco e gli oggetti, il rapporto con lo spazio, i corpi, la relazione con le donne adulte. Risulta evidente che l’autrice svedese supera il modello tradizionale di bambina presente nella letteratura per l’infanzia, timida, educata e virtuosa, ma non propone semplicemente un rovesciamento di questo modello: le sue bambine sono figure complesse, articolate, che presentano una loro specificità
