Road safety and road accident. A systemic approach: The article analyses the phenomenon of road safety and road accidents in a multidimensional perspective, considering its different dimensions: political, social, economic and legilative. After presenting the main characteristics of the phenomenon in Lombardy on the basis of institutional data, the article discusses the result of a qualitative exploratory research, that was aimed at acquiring a deeper understanding of the road safety phenomenon.
