This study explores the relationship between digital technologies and the professional identity formation of socio-pedagogical educators in training. The research conceptualizes professional identity as a dynamic process shaped by the interplay between digital tools, educational contexts, and socio-cultural changes. The internship is framed as a key situated space where learning, reflection, and identity construction intersect. Digital technologies are understood not merely as instruments, but as active elements in the “materialisation” of professional identity, influencing both the acquisition of competences and the processes through which they are developed across core dimensions of educational practice (needs analysis, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation).
