Utopie pedagogiche. Modelli educativi per il futuro

The contribution reflects on utopias in the history of education, emphasising how the utopian dimension is inherent in educational proposals: pedagogy is a critical and project-based science that seeks to indicate directions of meaning. Utopia proposes models that are radical precisely to have a greater impact on reality. The essay then explores some of these models in depth: those of Plato and utopian socialism; it also reflects on the utopian tensions present in the thinking of Dewey and Montessori.
