The essay aims to reinterpret certain labour institutions from the perspective of the female body, exploring how this perspective can offer new insights into the representation of both labour and the female body. The body is understood as a complex apparatus (biological, sensory, and psychological) with the capacity to influence on the construction of individual and gender identity. However, it is still heavily influenced by aesthetic, social, and performance models imposed by a male-dominated market. These models can affect business decisions and, even more significantly, a woman's life.

Abstract
The essay aims to reinterpret certain labour institutions from the perspective of the female body, exploring how this perspective can offer new insights into the representation of both labour and the female body. The body is understood as a complex apparatus (biological, sensory, and psychological) with the capacity to influence on the construction of individual and gender identity. However, it is still heavily influenced by aesthetic, social, and performance models imposed by a male-dominated market. These models can affect business decisions and, even more significantly, a woman's life.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
