Le filosofie femministe contemporanee

The article aims to provide an overview of the main authors, theories, issues and controversies that make up the varied panorama of contemporary feminist philosophies, highlighting the contribution they make to international political philosophy. In addition to summarising the main theoretical currents, some of the issues that animate the most lively theoretical and political debates will be presented, in particular: the re-emergence of the question of the subject (who and what is a woman), with the discussion of the concepts of sex and gender, and their relationship; the spread of the notion of intersectionality as an approach that transcends the equality/difference debate in favour of a different perspective on justice; and new conflicts within the critique of patriarchy concerning issues of the body, freedom, the market, and the boundaries of self-determination.
