Vulnerabilità Specifiche, Barriere Sistemiche, e Limiti dei Programmi Antitratta nel Sostegno alle Lavoratrici del Sesso Trans* Migranti

Drawing on the testimonies of practitioners and experts, this article analyses the specific vulnerabilities of migrant trans* sex workers in Italy and the limitations of anti-trafficking programs in addressing their needs. The analysis identifies three main areas of concern: debt-related exploitation extending beyond the sex markets; housing precarity; and barriers to healthcare access. Findings show how transphobia and the lack of a residence permit exacerbate these vulnerabilities, contributing to marginalization and the risk of re-trafficking. The article highlights the structural shortcomings of social protection programs and stresses the need to develop dedicated spaces and pathways capable of offering concrete alternatives to those who wish to exit sex work.

Partendo dalle testimonianze di operatrici/operatori ed esperte/esperti, questo articolo analizza le vulnerabilità specifiche delle sex worker trans* migranti in Italia e i limiti dei programmi antitratta nel rispondere ai loro bisogni. Dall’analisi emergono tre aree principali di criticità: lo sfruttamento legato al debito migratorio, che si estende oltre i mercati del sesso; la precarietà abitativa; e le barriere di accesso alla salute. I risultati mostrano come transfobia e l’assenza del permesso di soggiorno aggravino tali vulnerabilità, contribuendo a marginalizzazione e rischio di ri-tratta. L’articolo evidenzia le lacune strutturali dei programmi di protezione sociale e sottolinea la necessità di sviluppare spazi e percorsi dedicati, in grado di offrire alternative concrete a chi desidera uscire dal lavoro sessuale.
