Child-to-parent violence (CPV) remains an underexplored phenomenon in Italy, particularly from a pedagogical point of view. This paper presents the methodological framework of an ongoing qualitative study that investigates CPV at the intersection of educational, therapeutic and judicial systems. The research is grounded in Bronfenbrenner’s ecological model and adopts an interpretive-constructivist paradigm. The investigation has a multiple case-study design and employs a methodological triangulation strategy. Data are drawn from administrative files at the Juvenile Court of Milan, semi-structured interviews with parents and professionals involved in the “Le Querce” psychoeducational project in Turin and anonymous digital content from the Italian Quora platform. This contribution does not yet offer results, as the thematic analysis is still under development. However, it is argued that a pedagogical perspective can offer theoretical and practical tools for interpreting and addressing CPV in educational contexts.

Abstract
However, it is argued that a pedagogical perspective can offer theoretical and practical tools for interpreting and addressing CPV in educational contexts.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
