The study aims to demonstrate the legal relevance of “betrayal” in “de facto cohabitation”: “unjust infidelity,” in fact, can lead to the revocation of the gift for ingratitude and be rele vant, more generally, in the terrain of compensatory liability. Finally, the period of cohab itation before marriage should be taken into account in order to verify the violation of the spouses’ obligation of “loyalty."
