The dielectric properties of (AgI)1-x (Ag2MoO4)x glasses have been investigated at fixed microwave frequency (ν = 9.0 GHz) and temperature varying from T = 293 K down to T = 77 K using the usual cylindrical cavity resonating in the TM010 mode. The temperature dependence of a.c. conductivity shows the existence of different relaxation processes. The activation energy values extracted from the Arrhenius plot of σT vs. 1000/T are compared with the values obtained from the acoustic attenuation in the same glasses.

Abstract
The dielectric properties of (AgI)1-x (Ag2MoO4)x glasses have been investigated at fixed microwave frequency (ν = 9.0 GHz) and temperature varying from T = 293 K down to T = 77 K using the usual cylindrical cavity resonating in the TM010 mode. The temperature dependence of a.c. conductivity shows the existence of different relaxation processes. The activation energy values extracted from the Arrhenius plot of σT vs. 1000/T are compared with the values obtained from the acoustic attenuation in the same glasses.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
