Cavalcanti, Tasso e gli antichi ammaestramenti

The paper summarises and considers in their entirety all the areas of Tasso's work where the presence of Cavalcanti can be pinpointed, either in the form of explicit references, as in the Discorsi del poema eroico and in the dialogue La Cavaletta, or in the form of a more general poetic model, acting both on a metric (see Tasso's late ballate) and on a linguistic level (starting with the Aminta). The reconstruction takes into account the autograph apostilles to Cavalcanti's texts included in the 'Giuntina di rime antiche', a decisive turning point for the for tuna of pre-Petrarchan poetry in the 16th century.
