This brief paper draws together a set of documents presenting action projects that have been conducted across a range of settings, and which combine theory with practice in a virtuous circular dynamic. The focal point of all these trajectories is the real-life relationship of children, young people, adults, and the elderly with heritage, understood in a plurality of meanings. The common goal is to enable subjects to experience heritage and to generate reflection, awareness, and sharing around this experience. The projects are reported by a diversity of actors: researchers, teachers, public officials, museum directors and educators, and artists, united by the desire to document the state of the art, compare proposed approaches, and explore new pathways. A key dimension is the promotion of heritage, understood not only as recognized assets held in museums, but as all places, where people live, and which deserve our special attention. The proposed activities have frequently succeeded in making people more fully aware of their surroundings, which is a prerequisite to engaging in conservation and other forms of civic action. The rich variety of approaches and of places involved in these experiments demonstrates the infinite potential offered by heritage.

Abstract
The rich variety of approaches and of places involved in these experiments demonstrates the infinite potential offered by heritage.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
