This article aims to describe in its essential contents the draft reform of the Human Rights Act 1998 and its replacement with a new Bill of Rights. More specifically, an attempt will be made to understand the possible repercussions of the bill on the level of relations between the British legal system and the European Convention on Human Rights, as well as, on the domestic level, among the institutions of the form of government. Finally, it will be highlighted how on a general level the bill embodies a clear idea of political constitutionalism.
