The chapter investigates the potential of gamification as a tool for enhancing employees' well-being, inclusion, and equality in corporate environments. A systematic literature review was performed according to the PRISMA methodology, and 348 documents from the Scopus database and 262 from Web of Science were screened, resulting in 12 studies that met the criteria for inclusion. The results suggest that gamification can positively impact businesses by enhancing employee engagement, discussion, motivation, and performance, thus contributing to a more inclusive and equal work environment. Nonetheless, it highlights the need for more robust empirical research to validate the positive effects of gamification and guide its practical implementation in workplaces, also considering its relevance in pursuing the Sustainable Development Goals of 2030 Agenda, in particular SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.

Abstract
The chapter investigates the potential of gamification as a tool for enhancing employees' well-being, inclusion, and equality in corporate environments. A systematic literature review was performed according to the PRISMA methodology, and 348 documents from the Scopus database and 262 from Web of Science were screened, resulting in 12 studies that met the criteria for inclusion. The results suggest that gamification can positively impact businesses by enhancing employee engagement, discussion, motivation, and performance, thus contributing to a more inclusive and equal work environment. Nonetheless, it highlights the need for more robust empirical research to validate the positive effects of gamification and guide its practical implementation in workplaces, also considering its relevance in pursuing the Sustainable Development Goals of 2030 Agenda, in particular SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
