Abstract
Contemporary visual art is challenging the “classical” legal frame, both as to copyright and property or contract law.Is an artwork that is made of documents or that materializes itself through documents a work of art? If an artwork made of, or made through documents is art, then, does copyright protect art made out of documents ? Can conceptual artwork be recognized as a valid object of a contract ? And so, contracts that have got, as an object of their regulation, conceptual art are valid contracts? The artists may have ncesessery complicity with legal tools, and in particular in contracts, to produce conceptual and contemporary art and, possibly, secure its survival.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
