Functionalized nanotori are proposed as new therapeutic agents in cancer therapy. An industrially scalable process is described for their preparation in a wide interval of cross section (in the interval 102-103 nm2) and length (centred on 10 μm). The agents may be prepared imparting three different functionalizations, controlled on a length scale of 10 nm.
