Alongside the technologies that we see around us every day, we are also surrounded by a number of technologies that, for different reasons, belong to the world of imagination. One particular type of these technologies is constituted by the vaporware. The term vaporware is intended to describe some of the technologies that have been presented as imminent but have never actually facing the market. The history of the development of vaporware is able to give us valuable information about where technological innovation is heading.
