The aim of the research is the development of an alternative and independent reading electronics to the one currently in use (ROACH) for most of the experiments, through the use of high-performance commercial modules, the potential of which has recently been proven by the Milan group Bicocca. These modules allow intrinsically greater scalability and ease of programming than ROACH systems, as well as employing highly reliable rad-hard components. The specifications of the electronics were studied based on the characteristics of the detectors decided within the collaboration and the necessary hardware was acquired. I developed and tested the control and acquisition software for astronomical signals with real detectors, preparing a user interface that allows you to control the acquisition remotely.

Abstract
The aim of the research is the development of an alternative and independent reading electronics to the one currently in use (ROACH) for most of the experiments, through the use of high-performance commercial modules, the potential of which has recently been proven by the Milan group Bicocca. These modules allow intrinsically greater scalability and ease of programming than ROACH systems, as well as employing highly reliable rad-hard components. The specifications of the electronics were studied based on the characteristics of the detectors decided within the collaboration and the necessary hardware was acquired. I developed and tested the control and acquisition software for astronomical signals with real detectors, preparing a user interface that allows you to control the acquisition remotely.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
