This paper presents MAKKSim a system supporting the modelling and simulation of pedestrians and groups in an environment. The paper shows how the MAKKSim system can be employed to generate what-if scenarios showing the plausible overall system behaviour of the simulated scenario subject to a specific crowding situation.
