The work is included in a cooperation between the hydrogeological sector of Università Milano Bicocca and the Milan Provincial Department of the ARPA. The focus is the application of three linked hydrogeological model in order to simulate a event of pollution, derived from chlorinated solvents, which is inside the groundwater in the province of Milan, from over 30 years. The chlorinated solvents belong to DNAPL that is “Dense Non Aqueous Phase Liquid”. These element for their physical properties go down in groundwater reaching a low conducibility layer. The work has been focused on the three-dimensional rebuilding the distributions of the hydrogeological parameters within the entire aquifer volume. The three dimensional stratigraphic grid has been set by the integrated use of an hydrogeological TANGRAM database, of a GIS (Geografic Information System) and of a three-dimensional model GOCAD (Geological Object Computer Aided Design).

Abstract
The three dimensional stratigraphic grid has been set by the integrated use of an hydrogeological TANGRAM database, of a GIS (Geografic Information System) and of a three-dimensional model GOCAD (Geological Object Computer Aided Design).I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
