This work is a part of GEOINFORM research project, that involve Milano Province and St. Petersburg environmental authorities. It concerns the use of Modflow (a finite difference groundwater flow model) to analyze groundwater flow in an industrial area at the north of St. Petersburg (Russia). The hydrogeological system of the study area is very complex: underneath an unconfined aquifer there is an aquifer in morenic deposits. The aim of this study is developing a flow model to understand the relationship between the two different aquifers.

Abstract
This work is a part of GEOINFORM research project, that involve Milano Province and St. Petersburg environmental authorities. It concerns the use of Modflow (a finite difference groundwater flow model) to analyze groundwater flow in an industrial area at the north of St. Petersburg (Russia). The hydrogeological system of the study area is very complex: underneath an unconfined aquifer there is an aquifer in morenic deposits. The aim of this study is developing a flow model to understand the relationship between the two different aquifers.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
