This chapter presents an overview on the neuropsychological symptoms that canoccur as a result of damage to the frontal lobe. These changes include impairments whichaffect executive functioning and cognition in general, as well as distortions in mood andpersonality that can arise following frontal lobe injury. Special attention is paid toselected neuropsychological assessments which are currently used by clinicians in orderto identify the cognitive and behavioral sequelae of frontal lobe lesions.
