The two-day event included a series of plenary lectures and presentations from both British Neuropsychiatry Association members and invited speakers. Day 1 focused on the new developments in cognition, whereas day 2 was devoted to the neuropsychiatric aspects of encephalitis and autoimmunity. The meeting closed with a thought-provoking debate: 'This house believes that neurology and psychiatry should be one medical discipline'.
