The need to experiment innovative housing models, to meet increasingly complex needs of different social components, has exploded in a disruptive way following the Covid-19 pandemic, which has enormously aggravated the numerous problems that have been defining the housing question for a long time. Milan and Lombardy, among the most affected areas considering the number of victims, experienced in the first emergency phase the limits of an urban housing model too dependent on the real estate market of developers and not on the dimension of social living. However, the social housing sector has been able to demonstrate an adaptive capacity and dynamic rethinking with respect to the use of spaces, the populations involved and the objectives to be pursued, setting itself as a social heritage and a precious instrument for listening to the territory, very receptive to dimensions of social solidarity and economic and environmental sustainability. The contribution therefore aims to investigate two fairly consolidated social housing experiences in the Milanese context, analyzing the transformative dynamics implemented following the pandemic.

Abstract
The contribution therefore aims to investigate two fairly consolidated social housing experiences in the Milanese context, analyzing the transformative dynamics implemented following the pandemic.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
