A four-channel transimpedance amplifier to be used in a Compact Disc front-end is presented. The overall transimpedance gain of thn four channels is set by controlling the gain of a gaincontrolled buffer. This sülution requires for setting the gain of the four channels only one external precise resistor. The system has been realized in a 0.7um BiCMOS technology. It consumes 40mW from a single 5V supply and achieves 36dB SNR for an input signal with a 3.2MHz bandwidth, without requiring an equalizer in tho signal path. © 2000 IEEE.

Abstract
A four-channel transimpedance amplifier to be used in a Compact Disc front-end is presented. The overall transimpedance gain of thn four channels is set by controlling the gain of a gaincontrolled buffer. This sülution requires for setting the gain of the four channels only one external precise resistor. The system has been realized in a 0.7um BiCMOS technology. It consumes 40mW from a single 5V supply and achieves 36dB SNR for an input signal with a 3.2MHz bandwidth, without requiring an equalizer in tho signal path. © 2000 IEEE.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
