Abstract

Plasmas confined in reversed field pinch configuration are investigated. The self-organized criticality (SOC) paradigm in tranport process in the plasmas is analyzed a technique consists of an analysis of the probability density function of the times between bursts in density fluctuations. These bursts are measured using microwave reflectometry and electrostic probes.
