A four-channel transimpedance amplifier for Compact Disk (CD) front-end is presented. The transimpedance gain of the four channels is set by using only one external resistor through a gain-controlled buffer. The system has been realized in a 0.7μm BiCMOS technology. It consumes 40mW from a single 5V supply and achieves 40dB SNR for input signal in the 0- 3.2MHz, without requiring an equalizer in the signal path. © 1998 Editions Frontieres.

Abstract
A four-channel transimpedance amplifier for Compact Disk (CD) front-end is presented. The transimpedance gain of the four channels is set by using only one external resistor through a gain-controlled buffer. The system has been realized in a 0.7μm BiCMOS technology. It consumes 40mW from a single 5V supply and achieves 40dB SNR for input signal in the 0- 3.2MHz, without requiring an equalizer in the signal path. © 1998 Editions Frontieres.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
