Distributed Ledger Technology e Blockchain: considerazioni sulla possibile evoluzione della digitalizzazione delle amministrazioni

This article analyzes the impacts a blockchain system has when embedded in the public sector. Indeed, the famous and disruptive technology has already made its debut in that specific field, showing its potential and allowing an in-depth analysis from a juridical point of view. The document contained herein has been inspired by the popular paper written by the anonymous entity well-known as Satoshi Nakamoto, which describes the complex way a blockchain transaction works. It has been of primary interest to examine the possibility that such a technological instrument can be helpful for the Italian Public Administration, which notoriously is characterized by a lazy digitalization progress.
