This research is characterized for interdisciplinary approach to the problem of groundwater’s quality with respect to the presence of Arsenic in Emilia-Romagna area. The concentration of this element has been analyzed in a spatial view and in function of the chemical-physical conditions (Eh, pH, Fe), the hydraulic conditions (piezometric level and groundwater’s flow) and the hydro-geological structure of the area. Some subsoil’s samples have been analysed to correlate the high Arsenic concentrations with a particular aquifer layer and enlarging the result from single hydro-geological sections to the whole Emilia-Romagna area.
