If we consider the definition of "Landscape" formulated by the European Landscape Convention of Florence (2000), we note that it “designates a certain part of the territory, as perceived by the populations, whose character derives from the action of natural and/or human factors and their interrelationships". Consequently, through this approach, some different types of landscape that stand out in the city of the 21st Century, as a result of the social, economic and cultural conditions of the populations that inhabit it, are identified. This contribution intends to offer hints for a reflection, through the analysis of some case-studies, on the "exit" from the designated places first of the film, then of the artwork, then of the living spaces. This phenomenon has not only contaminated the artistic languages by transforming the experiences of vision but has changed the collective rituals. If towards the end of the 19th Century and during the following one the development of modern civilization through the characterization of buildings typical of both the city and the holiday resort (cinema, museum, hotel) had followed established and crystallized paths, our contemporaneity sees the continuous mixing of the experience of citizen with that of spectator, of the function of a place with the many others it fulfills at the same time, of the private dimension with the public one.
