Corrections au « Glossaire de la Mudawwana » publié par Bossoutrot

This article contains a list of words to be corrected in a collection of glosses published by Auguste Bossoutrot in 1900 under the title "Old Berber Vocabulary (Dialecte du djebel Nefoussa)". These glosses were taken from a medieval work often cited under the abbreviated name of "Mudawwana of Ibn Ghanem", although in reality it is the Berber commentary, by Abū Zakarīyaˀ Yaḥyà al-Yafranī, of two works, closely related, attributed to the same author, Abū Ġānim Bišr b. Ġānim al-Ḫurāsānī: the Mudawwana (“Corpus”) and the Kitāb Ibn ˁAbbād, composed, in Arabic, towards the end of the 2nd / 8th century. The discovery of a long manuscript containing this work, made it possible to verify the words in context, which showed the presence of some transcription and / or comprehension errors.
