The chapter is composed by 5 parts: after a brief introduction to the region and a presentation of the report’s structure, we discuss the methodology implemented in order to read different materials and to use different kinds of data (both qualitative and quantitative ones). The third section is aiming at assessing different aspects of the Milanese metropolitan area using both background data and interviewees’ opinions. The section is divided between hard and soft factors in a dimension and among workers, managers and foreigners opinions in the second dimension.
