I review few selected topics on recent theoretical progress in top physics. In particular I will discuss recent progress in the computation of the relationship between the MS and pole top mass, in the NNLO calculation of top differential distributions, and in the simulation of top production and decays. Implications for top mass measurements will be discussed.
