The Authors analyse the tight correlation between stalking and erotomania, focusing on celeb- rity stalking. Freud’s and De Clérambault’s theories and DSM-IV diagnostic criteria are men- tioned. Special attention is paid to social dangerousness of erotomanic stalkers. Two forensic cases of celebrity stalking are presented: one based on heterosexual erotomania, the other on homosexual erotomania.
