The ageing of our society, due to the technological advancements brought in our lives, its a sign of how better we can now live compared even just to a decade ago. Because of this, one of the important aspects that our society is now focused on is bringing proper care to all of the senior citizens that take advantage of these technological improvements. Music has become one of the reference points in elderly care, especially for the benefits it has brought in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. This is why in this paper the idea of a cyber physical system involving music playing and user monitoring is presented, in order to propose a designed system that could also be useful in the above mentioned elderly care.
