Le territorialità contemporanee nel prisma del soggetto

Subjectivity related to places is start to becoming a central issue in geography. A growing interest about the self is already manifest in other human and social sciences. Without any ambition of an exhaustive «state of the field» in a debate «somewhat hushed», we try to follow the current discussion on different topic of interest of geography. We intend to investigates the diffi- culty of switching from different expressions and roles of the subject (actor, actant) or of group of subjects (class, gender, community, etc.) to the spatial dimension of the real self. The concept of «geographical subject» emerge in its autonomous and imaginative func- tions. Different fields of research (local development, sustainability, public space) show the necessity and the width of a perspective of work in progress.
