Advances in robotics and Artificial Intelligence pose new challenges to legal categories and institutions. The presentation will focus on the proposal of attributing e-personality to robots with autonomous, self-learning abilities and will examine the interrelationship between the category of personhood and the concept of person with other legal categories and concepts, namely autonomy, freedom, responsibility and equality.
