Cittadinanza europea tra exit e enter: quale ruolo del processo di Berlino?

The article addressed the issue of the realignments of the citizenship regimes and practices within a European space in transformation. The issue of deepening of the integrative bonds among the EU member states had been clashed with the issue of widening of the European Union towards other Eastern and South-eastern European societies. Two recent cases demonstrated to be of great importance for the future of the EU: the exit of the United Kingdom, and the troubled accession of the Western Balkan countries. The research presented in the article explored the complex dialectics of these processes from the perspective of the political agency of the citizenry, beyond the geopolitical dimension of the European integration crises.
