The consolidation of migration in Italy has increased those immigrants who choose a permanent settlement. The children of immigrant parents, born or reunited in Italy, represent a fundamental object of analysis to study what is happening and what will happen in the near future about integration process in our country. Taking into account the rich dataset collected by the ITAGEN2 survey this paper provide an overview of the conditions, characteristics and aspirations of foreign origin teenagers. Several areas of life are considered: family structure, school performances, relationships with peers, educational and professional aspirations.
