We present a calculation of the corrections of order α s for Z pair production in hadronic collisions. We give analytic formulae for the differential parton cross sections. For the total parton cross sections we provide quite accurate fits to the numerically integrated results, which can be easily used for phenomenological applications. We also present a few phenomenological results for the total cross section at energies of interest. We find that the corrections are positive in all the cases that we have considered, and are of the order of 20% to 30% of the total. © 1991.
