Workplace Health Promotion (WHP) is a topic that has been analyzed from a number of different disciplines and viewpoints (from preventive medicine to business sciences). Our article aims at contributing to the debate on WHP from an organizational perspective, examining how the implementation of a WHP program is constructed and negotiated by different organizational actors and stakeholders. Our study analyzes a WHP initiative promoted by a large research institute in Northern Italy. The peculiarity of this initiative stands in its processual dimension, that is characted by a dynamics of co-construction of the program by the managers, the workforce and some external stakeholders. The findings of our research shed light on the tensions that may arise in the governance of a WHP program and point out some of the implications of the provision of benefits related to health issues in a large organizational setting

Abstract
The findings of our research shed light on the tensions that may arise in the governance of a WHP program and point out some of the implications of the provision of benefits related to health issues in a large organizational settingI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
