In Italy there is a strong debate about vaccines. This paper highlights the legal reasons for mandatory vaccination practice, but also the misunderstandings and problems related to these issue, especially facing “the freedom of choice for vaccines in children”. In this regard, we will propose an ethical and legal reflection.
